As well as classes being held in Burning Desires own training room in Portadown. New for 2004 will be a mobile training facility and Fiona will travel throughout Ireland bringing the classes to suitable venues in all the major towns and cities.

When you register your interest in specific classes we will be able to tell you when and where the class should take place and you can look forward to a full days training experience with all the product, lunch etc. included in the cost.

If you are new to the balloon business it is recommended that you first take the Fundamentals class, this will help you to gain the wide range of basic skills required to move on to the more specialised subjects such as weddings or classic décor.

If you already have experience and don’t need to do a Fundamentals class you can book any of the other classes straight away.

If you are just starting in the balloon industry or want to learn the latest proven techniques for speed, efficiency and merchandising, then this is the course for you. This certified course is a great introduction into decorating and retailing with balloons.

A fun filled, hands on day designed to give you a grounding in the techniques and products used in everyday balloon decorating and retailing. From knot tying techniques to building bouquets, columns, centrepieces, and arches. You will learn the fundamentals to start your business on a firm footing with job costing information, an introduction to the Qualatex Balloon Network and marketing hints and tips from your Qualatex Approved Instructor.

Weddings for Beginners

Trying to build your wedding portfolio and want some really great photographs of everyday wedding designs? This is the course for you and is ideally suited for someone who has attended a Qualatex Fundamentals Course or similar. On this course you will create a range of beautiful wedding Centrepieces, Hearts, Arches, Cloud Nines, Exploding Confetti Balloons and more. Don't forget your camera!

Advanced Wedding Décor

This is an advanced class and is more challenging, for the more experienced decorator. You will learn how to create sophisticated centrepieces, topiary, fantasy flowers, bows and a life size Bride and Groom. Fiona will explain how to entice your bride into spending even more money.
